NOTICE OF Parish Council Meeting
You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Tattershall with Thorpe Parish Council, to be held on Tuesday 6th September 2022 at 7.15pm for the purpose of transacting the following business.

There will be a 15 minute public forum prior to the first item on the agenda, when members of the public may raise any matters of interest in the parish, and may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also requested during this period.

1 Welcome & Chairman’s Report
2 Apologies for Absence: to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.
3 To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.
4 To approve as a correct record the notes of the last meeting, on 5th July 2022 and to authorise the Chairman to sign as the official minutes.
5 Reports from District and County Councillors, Police and any other outside agencies.
6 Clerk’s resignation, interviews and to Ratify appointment of new clerk
7 Vacancy for Parish Councillor –To co-opt a suitable candidate: Mrs Janice Cotgreave.
8 Clerks report on correspondence and matters outstanding:
a) Spraying in Churchyard – G Smith Quote £300 (see Appendix)
b) Hedge in Churchyard – G Smith Quote £200 (see Appendix)
c) Planting of daffodils in Church yard – Approved by Holy Trinity Parochial Church Council, to approve costs (see Appendix)
d) Damaged bin – footpath near canal – to approve purchase of new bin
e) Coronation
f) Unapproved planting on Clinton Park – this has now been removed.
g) Dog Fouling in Tattershall Thorpe has been reported to ELDC
h) Tattershall Thorpe Notice Board – refurbishment costs £600 (SC)
i) Sibsey Lancaster Memorial Trust – Service of Remembrance 25th September 2022 @ 2.30pm

a. Watering of new trees @ Clinton Park - £100 W R Hanson

11 Thorpe Beacon – proposal to site on frame/column permanently (more details from J Stanley)
12 Review of parish council policies – see attached schedule and website for all policies documents.

b. Street Lamps – update – there is nothing to report
c. Trees – low branches & basal growth
d. Proposal for installing TWTPC Crest/logo on planters (six) £195.84
15 To consider proposal for more planters and possible locations plus volunteer gardeners (see Appendix)

e. Letter from concerned resident re speeding
f. To receive a report from CSW teams in Tattershall & Tattershall Thorpe
g. CSW training – Thursday 15th September @ Tattershall Village Hall 6 – 8pm.
h. Continued contract with Select Electrical to move SiD Device £540 plus VAT for 1 year (see Appendix)
