NOTICE OF Parish Council Meeting

You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Tattershall with Thorpe Parish Council, to be held on Tuesday 1st March 2022 at 7.15pm in Tattershall Village Hall, Lodge Road, Tattershall and for the purpose of transacting the following business.

There will be a 15 minute public forum prior to the first item on the agenda, when members of the public may raise any matters of interest in the parish, and may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also requested during this period.

AGENDA for the Meeting of Tattershall with Thorpe Parish Council

1   Welcome & Chairman’s Report 

2   Apologies for Absence: to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.

3   To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.

4   To approve as a correct record the notes of the last meeting, 1st March 2022 and to authorise the Chairman to sign as the official minutes.  

5   Reports from District and County Councillors, Police and any other outside agencies.

6   To co-opt to fill a Vacancy for two parish councillors (1 x Tattershall & 1 x Tattershall Thorpe)

a)   Resignation of Mr D Eldridge

7   Clerks report on correspondence and matters outstanding:

a)   New Sign for Sleaford Road – to be paid for as part of the Welcome Back Fund

b)   Extra Grass cutting in Thorpe – update

c)   Notification of Increase in grass cutting charges from Tudor Grounds Maintenance

d)   Wombles Thank you event & Parish Clean up – feedback/report

e)   Buttercross Lighting – due to the restrictions for any works close to the Buttercross I think this project is not achievable.

f)   Committees for 2022-2023

g)   To set a date for the clerk’s appraisal

h)   Repair to parish bin carried out By T Gibbons 8/3/22 (canal side footpath)

i)   Missing Bin from Clinton Park

a.   Commemorative Coins – order has been placed, delivery expected early May.

b.   Street Decorations: Discs, Bunting or flags?

10.   Interpretation Board / Lectern for Market Place Trees and other useful information – purchase of this can be included in the S106 funds.  The design is yet to be agreed – see information sheet.

11.   Christmas Lights Display – prices for more lights and rechargeable batteries.
