NOTICE OF Parish Council Meeting
You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Tattershall with Thorpe Parish Council, to be held on Tuesday 1st March 2022 at 7.15pm in Tattershall Village Hall, Lodge Road, Tattershall and for the purpose of transacting the following business.

There will be a 15 minute public forum prior to the first item on the agenda, when members of the public may raise any matters of interest in the parish, and may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also requested during this period.

AGENDA for the Meeting of Tattershall with Thorpe Parish Council
1 Welcome & Chairman’s Report
2 Apologies for Absence: to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.
3 To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.
4 To approve as a correct record the notes of the last meeting, 1st February 2022 and to authorise the Chairman to sign as the official minutes.
5 Reports from District and County Councillors, Police and any other outside agencies.
6 To co-opt to fill a Vacancy for two parish councillors (1 x Tattershall & 1 x Tattershall Thorpe)
7 Clerks report on correspondence and matters outstanding:
a) LALC Annual Subscription £512.55 and
b) LALC Training Scheme £162.00
c) Extra Grit Bins – request declined by LCC
d) Village Hall representative from parish council
e) Market Place Lighting – see document
f) Market Place Improvements update (S106) – quotes have been approved, orders placed and contractors appointed for installation of Lights around the War Memorial.
g) New Sign for Sleaford Road -
h) Extra Grass cutting in Thorpe – update
i) Wombles Thank you event & Parish Clean up – 12th March 2022
8. Queen’s Jubilee 2022
a. Report from recent meeting
b. Commemorative Coins and book marks
9. Welcome Back Fund (ELDC) – quotes have been approved, orders placed and contractors appointed.
10. Interpretation Board / Lectern for Market Place Trees and other useful information – purchase of this can be included in the S106 funds. The design is yet to be agreed.
11. Update on parish benches
a. The 4 benches have been ordered and the contractor appointed. There is a 10 to 12 week lead time on the benches. This is to replace the old wooden benches currently on the asset register.
b. More Benches – to consider locations for more benches in Tattershall and Tattershall Thorpe.
12. Christmas Lights Display – prices for more lights and rechargeable batteries.
13. Edging / Siding up
a. Areas to be done – Pauls Lane
b. Budget available.

15. Community Speed Watch Scheme
a. To receive a report from CSW teams in Tattershall & Tattershall Thorpe
b. TRO request – nothing to report.
